Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro – Gaming Mouse
This fully functional, right-handed, wireless gaming mouse is incredibly comfortable and has an amazing lot of functionality for its price. It also has excellent grip. Larger hands are best suited for it because of its size and weight.
On the left side is a textured thumb rest, and the palm has a textured surface for improved grip. To keep your hand off the desktop entirely, you can remove the right-side panel to reveal a slot for the USB receiver and replace it with a textured pinkie rest. It is quite pleasant to use for extended periods of time.
Connectivity is straightforward because of Corsair’s own Slipstream technology, which can switch channels on the 2.4GHz frequency automatically. As a backup, Bluetooth connectivity is also available. This mouse, which has a sensor that can reach 18,000 DPI and a polling rate of 2000 Hz, manages the intense in-game action with ease.
You may remap or personalize the eight programmable buttons with macros and shortcuts. Corsair’s iCue software, which might be difficult to learn but is incredibly flexible and deeply customizable, allows you to customize anything.
The Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro offers a reasonable battery life of up to 50 hours, but to go close to that amount of time, you’ll need to be in power-saving mode with the lights off. When the battery goes out, you can always plug it in and continue playing because there is a USB-C port. You may choose the Dark Core Pro RGB SE if you truly want compatibility for Qi wireless charging.

For $35, you may purchase Corsair’s MM1000 Qi Wireless Charging Mouse Pad, or you can use any other Qi wireless charging pad to charge the mouse. Please be aware that at most merchants, the wifi option may add more to the cost than we think is justified.
For the features, the $70 pricing is currently unbeatable, especially if wireless charging isn’t a top priority for you. This was the mouse we wanted to go back to at the conclusion of our testing. With regard to gaming mice, the Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro has everything you could possibly need.

My Overall Experience
I purchased this mouse because I appreciate having a variety of thumb buttons but don’t like how it feels to try to grip the mouse while it has a grid of more than ten buttons.
I use this mouse for a good grip and a ton of customization because I play a lot of first-person shooter and role-playing games. But the good news ends there.
For some reason, this mouse only seems to left-click when using an internet browser. It makes surfing quite frustrating, but it never appears to happen in games.
This mouse frequently loses profiles and software. It always wakes up in the factory default profile when it goes into sleep mode, and I have to reopen the drivers to change it.
Additionally, the mouse regularly appears to forget the firmware version; it is frequently rendered fully inoperable until I connect in a backup mouse and update the drivers that way. At least twice a week, and sometimes even three or four times a day, this happens.
